XEN ROADS KUCHLAK CIRCLE
Executive Engineer Roads, Communication & Works Department, Kuchlak Circle, Qazi Sanaullah inspected the ongoing drainage work on Main Nawan Killi Road. He reviewed the material being used and directed that special attention must be given to maintaining the quality of the project, while also ensuring that the pace of work is further accelerated.

On August 12, 2025, Executive Engineer B&R Mr. Rashid visited the College of Nursing, Zhob. On this occasion, the Principal of the College, Mr. Ghulam Ali Hasni, briefed him about the issues concerning the college building and took him on a tour of the campus. In response, Mr. Rashid assured that, God willing, construction work on the College of Nursing, Zhob, will commence very soon.

A meeting regarding pending PC-1 road and building projects for the financial year 2025β26 was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Communications & Works, Lal Jan Jaffar. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineers from all six zones, the Chief Engineer for Federal Projects, and other senior officials of the Communications & Works Department.
During the meeting, each zonal Chief Engineer provided a detailed briefing on the pending PC-1s in their respective areas. Addressing the participants, the Secretary emphasized that the departmentβs foremost priority should be to finalize all pending PC-1s at the earliest and present them to the relevant forums. He warned that delays could negatively impact the provinceβs development and the improvement of its infrastructure.
The Secretary issued strict instructions to all Chief Engineers to ensure that no negligence or shortcomings occur in this regard and to expedite the process. βWe have limited time and face tough competition,β he stressed, βtherefore, all pending PC-1s must be completed ahead of their deadlines.β
Lal Jan Jaffar further stated that, in line with the clear directives of the Provincial Minister for Communications & Works, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, the department must enhance both the speed and quality of work on ongoing development projects and pending PC-1s. This, he said, would strengthen the departmentβs contribution to the provinceβs development and the improvement of its infrastructure.

Superintending Engineer Zhob, Naimatullah Shah, reviewed the progress on ongoing development projects in Zhob, which include the CTD Complex, Judicial Complex, GOR Colony, Truck Stand, and the under-construction Veterinary Institute. He also visited the construction site
During the visit, Executive Engineer Buildings District Zhob Abdul Rashid, SDO Jahandad Khan, and other officials from the Communications and Works Department, District Zhob, were also present.
On the occasion, SE Zhob Naimatullah Shah inspected the ongoing projects, checked the quality of materials being used, and issued further instructions to accelerate the pace of work to ensure timely completion of these projects.

Secretary for Communications and Works, Lal Jan Jaffar, today visited the under-construction Customs and Gahi Khan flyovers. On the occasion, Chief Engineer for Federal Projects, Dr. Sajjad Baloch, along with other senior officials from the Department of Communications and Works, were also present.
The Secretary reviewed the progress on both flyovers in detail and inspected the construction materials being used. SDO Saleem Ahmed briefed the Secretary comprehensively on the ongoing projects.

Chief Engineer Quetta Zone, Abdul Rahim Bangulzai, visited the under-construction Smart Secretariat building. On the occasion, Superintendent Engineer City Circle Azhar Jan, Executive Engineer Maintenance Qambir Bugti, and other senior officials were also present. The Chief Engineer inspected the ongoing work at the Smart Secretariat, examined the construction materials, and directed that the pace of work be further accelerated.
