SECRETARY CWPP&H
Meeting on Departmental Performance Chaired by Secretary Communications & Works, Mr. Lal Jan Jafar.
A departmental performance review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Communications & Works, Mr. Lal Jan Jafar. During the session, the Secretary issued the following directives:
1. PC-I Submission Deadline:
The deadline of 25th July 2025 for submission and approval of all PC-I documents must be strictly adhered to. All PC-Is are to be finalized and approved by the respective forums within this timeline.
2. PC-I Documentation Requirements:
Each PC-I must be comprehensive, including:
A detailed District Map
A complete Checklist
Proper paging
Data based on an accurate ground survey
3. Utilization of Funds:
Expenditure must be accelerated and improved during the current financial year, especially considering that C&W has received releases at the very start of the CFY.
4. Field Monitoring by Superintending Engineers (SEs):
SEs must ensure active on-ground monitoring of their respective projects and must keep the Secretary's Office informed through regular updates.

XEN ROADS QUETTA
Captain (R) Mehar Ullah Badini, Commissioner of Quetta District, and Assistant Commissioner Sariab, Saad Zafar, held a meeting with Ali Nawaz Marri, Executive Engineer (XEN) Roads Quetta, from the Communications and Works Department.
The meeting focused on the ongoing development projects in Quetta, particularly those under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner Saryab. They also discussed issues related to the stone crush sites involved in these projects.

COWPP&H DEPARTMENT
Project Director for the Sibi-Thadri Road, Naeem Zamri, along with his team, visited various sections of the ongoing project to review the progress of work. During the visit, he thoroughly inspected the ongoing construction activities and issued several important directives to ensure timely and quality completion of the project.
