CHIEF ENGINEER BUILDING QUETTA ZONE
On June 28, 2025, Engr. Ghulam Muhammad Zehri, Chief Engineer Buildings, CWPP&H Department, along with Architect Ms. Mubashira and the field staff of Maintenance Division III Quetta, visited various emergency development works underway at the cricket ground, girls' hostels, BMC College, and Bolan Medical Complex Hospital in Quetta.
CHIEF ENGINEER BUILDING QUETTA ZONE
Chief Engineer Buildings Quetta Zone, Communication and Works Department, Ghulam Muhammad Zehri, is reviewing the progress of ongoing development projects at Bolan Medical Complex. He is also issuing necessary directives to the concerned officials regarding the work.
MINISTER CWPP&H
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, to review the budget for the fiscal year 2024–25, the upcoming fiscal year 2025–26, and to discuss precautionary measures in view of the anticipated monsoon rains. The meeting was attended via Zoom by Secretary Communications and Works Lal Jan Jaffar, Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers (SEs), and District Engineering Officers.
XEN E&M WORKS DIVISION
The road carpeting work in Model Town,, Opposite Islamia High School near Mali Bagh, and Usman Qila, Pashtoonabad, is progressing rapidly under the supervision of the C&W Department’s XEN E&M Works Division. The project is nearing its final stages and will soon be complete
CWPP&H ROADS DISTRICT ZIARAT
The construction work on Baghao Road in Sanjavi, under the supervision of the Communications and Works Department, District Ziarat, is progressing rapidly.
XEN ROADS QUETTA
Under the supervision of the Executive Engineer Roads Quetta, Department of Communications and Works, road carpeting work is currently underway in the Tareen Shar area of Quetta city.
XEN PROJECT-I
Under the supervision of the Department of Communications and Works, road carpeting work is progressing rapidly in various streets of Quetta's Jattak Stop area as part of the "Xen Project One."
SECRETARY CWPP&H
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Secretary Admin, Communication and Works Department, Bahadur Khan, to address various complaints received through the Pakistan Citizen Portal. During the meeting, all complaints were forwarded to the relevant sections, and instructions were issued to submit reports as soon as possible.
CWPP&H DISTRICT KHOLU
The foundation stone of the Girls College in Kohlu was laid by the then President, General Pervez Musharraf, in 2005. However, the construction remained incomplete for several years. The project was later included in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2020–21. With the special interest and efforts of Secretary Communication and Works, Mr. Lal Jan Jafar, the revised estimate was approved in the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP). Today, the long-awaited inauguration ceremony of the college is finally being held.
