CHIEF ENGINEER ROADS SIBI ZONE
1. The approach to the Mach Bridge, which was partially damaged, has been restored.
2. Clearance activities are underway on the N-65 near Zamindar Hotel and will be completed soon. In this section, both C&W and NHA are jointly working to clear the road.
The approach to the Dopasi Bridge was also partially damaged but has now been restored and is open to traffic.
In the Dozan area, the NHA has cleared the road, while C&W has addressed the landsliding at Akachhi.

Tehsil Mawand: Inspection of New RHC Hospital Building – Construction Progressing Smoothly
Kohlu — On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Kohlu and Executive Engineer Jaffar Sahib, an inspection was carried out at the site of the new RHC (Rural Health Center) building in Tehsil Mawand. SDO Nawab Khan and Engineer Gulsheer visited the site to review the ongoing construction activities.
The construction work is progressing with good quality and is being carried out in accordance with technical standards. During the inspection, the overall progress and workmanship were found to be satisfactory.

Inspection Visit to Ongoing Road Schemes under Kuchlak Roads Division
Today, as per the directions of the Honorable Secretary Communication & Works, I visited the following ongoing development schemes under the Kuchlak Roads Division, accompanied by my team:
1. Construction / Rehabilitation of Main Nawa Killi Road, Quetta
2. Dualization of Blacktopped Road from Nawa Killi Check Post to Hanna and Chief Minister’s Annexe, Hanna Quetta
3. Dualization and Widening of Road from BA Mall to Almo Chowk via Nawa Killi Check Post, Quetta
4. Rehabilitation of Nawa Killi Bypass, Quetta
The visit was aimed at reviewing the progress and ensuring that the quality and pace of work meet the prescribed standards.

Visit of XEN (Roads) Ziarat to Ongoing Development Projects – 19th July 2025
On 19th July 2025, Executive Engineer (Roads) Ziarat, Malik Chakar Khan Khajjak, conducted a field visit to inspect various ongoing development schemes, including the construction and blacktopping of Zehrgi Cross to Mana Road in District Ziarat.
During the visit, he thoroughly assessed the quality of the premix works, ensuring compliance with technical standards in terms of thickness, bitumen quality, mixing ratios, width, and compaction. He expressed satisfaction with the overall quality and noted that the construction work is progressing at a commendable pace.

Director Development P&D Lutfullah and Deputy Director Muhammad Sadiq Visit Road Projects in Hub District
Director Development Planning & Development (P&D) Lutfullah and Deputy Director Muhammad Sadiq conducted an inspection of several ongoing road projects in Hub District. These projects include the N-25 to Ship Breaking Yard Road, Barkat Goth, the Wadera Ghulam Nabi Motak Road, pirkas Road, Pathan Colony, and the Southern Bypass Road.
During the visit, they were accompanied by Executive Engineer Roads Hub District, Abdul Wahab Zehri; SDOs Muhammad Subhan, Akram Qambrani, and Sardar Ali Shah; as well as Sub-Engineers Yahya Mengal and Muhammad Hussain.
Executive Engineer Abdul Wahab Zehri gave a detailed briefing on the progress of all ongoing projects. The delegation also visited the project sites to assess the current status. Director Development Lutfullah and Deputy Director Muhammad Sadiq expressed satisfaction with the ongoing work and conveyed their confidence that all the mentioned projects would be completed within the stipulated timelines.
Executive Engineer Abdul Wahab Zehri emphasized that their top priority is to ensure timely completion of all development projects in Hub District. He further added that Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, has issued special instructions to not only ensure timely completion but also to maintain high quality standards in all ongoing works.
He concluded by stating that the completion of these development projects will usher in a new era of progress and prosperity for the region.

Secretary Communications and Works, Lal Jan Jafar; Secretary Irrigation, Saleh Muhammad Nasir; DG PDMA, Jahanzaib Khan; and provincial Deputy Commissioners participated in a Zoom meeting regarding the Monsoon Alert 2025.
The meeting focused on planning precautionary measures to mitigate potential damage from the upcoming monsoon rains. It was also decided to provide full support and necessary machinery to all district deputy commissioners to ensure effective preparedness and response.
