The rehabilitation of Ali Bhai Road and its adjoining streets in Quetta is currently underway under the supervision of Executive Engineer, Road (City Division), Engr. Azeem Anwar.

"Today, the Divisional Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director of the Probation Department, along with the XEN, SDO, and Sub Engineer of B&R Loralai, visited the Probation Office, Division Loralai." And also visited the BRC LORALAI

Engr. Ghulam Mohammad Zehri, Chief Engineer Buildings, CWPP&H Department Quetta Zone, presided over a progress review meeting on development schemes in the Rakhshan and Loralai Circles.

Chief Engineer Quetta, Engr. Abdul Raheem Bangulzai, visited the PAF Base Flyover along with Superintending Engineer Engr. Ahmed Azhar Jan and XEN Engr. Habib-u-Rehman. During the visit, he directed that the remaining work be completed as soon as possible.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary for Communications and Works, Lal Jan Jafar, to review the progress of development projects in District Quetta with road and building engineering officers. All engineering officers participated in the meeting.

Sohbatpur – July 16:
Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, has reaffirmed his commitment to modernizing road and building infrastructure not only in District Sohbatpur but across the province. He emphasized that the construction of the Sohbatpur to Kashmor Road will greatly enhance connectivity for people from all walks of life in Sohbatpur, while also improving access between Balochistan and other provinces.
The minister expressed these views while chairing a high-level meeting to review the progress of ongoing road and building infrastructure projects in District Sohbatpur. The meeting was attended by the Chief Engineers of Roads and Buildings for the Sibi Zone, along with all district engineers and officers from the Naseerabad Circle and other senior officials.
During the session, participants received comprehensive briefings on the progress of infrastructure projects in Sohbatpur. The District Engineer of Sohbatpur also presented a detailed update on Phase One of the Sohbatpur-Kashmor Road project, highlighting key technical challenges.
Speaking at the occasion, Minister Khosa stated that aligning the province’s infrastructure with modern standards and ensuring the availability of contemporary facilities across all sectors remains a top priority. He acknowledged the severe damage caused by recent rains and floods, particularly to the road infrastructure in Sohbatpur.
He reiterated that timely completion of all development projects, especially those involving roads, is crucial. He described the Sohbatpur Kashmor Road as a significant gift for his constituency, promising far-reaching benefits for the entire district.
The minister instructed relevant departments to accelerate the pace of work on the project and to address all technical issues on a priority basis to ensure its swift completion, allowing the local population to benefit at the earliest.

He also emphasized the importance of maintaining high quality standards across all ongoing projects, stating that no compromise on quality would be tolerated. Furthermore, he directed engineers and officers to conduct daily monitoring of ongoing development works and submit weekly progress reports to ensure accountability and transparency.

On July 16, 2025, Minister Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai, accompanied by SDO Buildings Quetta City, Mr. Simon Masood Bhatti, visited various sites of ongoing development schemes.

Physical verification of the revised road sector schemes in Quetta City Division was carried out under the supervision of Mr. Rafique Ahmed Baloch, Director General (M&E), Planning & Development Department.

A Zoom meeting was held under the leadership of Secretary Communications and Works, Government of Balochistan, Mr. Lal Jan Jafar, in collaboration with the Planning Commission to discuss the new Balochistan Provincial Assembly building project. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer Federal Projects Dr. Sajjad Baloch, Executive Engineer Maintenance-I Qambir Bugti, along with other senior officials from the Communications and Works Department.
