SE QUETTA CIRCLE ROADS
Azizullah Khan Kassi SE. Roads Quetta Circle reviewed the progress of various ongoing development projects in the Chaman district. During his visit, he assessed the quality and pace of the work and issued directives to ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the execution of these projects.
SE BUILDING RAKSHAN DIVISION
Visit Report – Kharan District (24-05-2025 to 25-05-2025)
A site visit was conducted in Kharan District from 24th to 25th May 2025, accompanied by the Executive Engineer (Buildings), SDO, and Sub Engineer. The visit covered various ongoing construction projects including:
DIG Complex
CTD Complex
Fish Hatchery
Women Crisis Center
Mines & Minerals Hospital
Inter College Gowash
DEO Office
Bachelor Hostel for Female Education Officers
The overall progress and quality of work at the sites were found to be satisfactory. Field staff were instructed to ensure strict adherence to quality control measures and execution as per the approved scope of work.
At Inter College Gowash, specific rectifications and improvements were proposed. These included conducting slump tests and collecting concrete samples to verify material quality. Additionally, walls that were raised beyond the door band height were dismantled jointly on-site to align with design specifications.
The contractor was directed to expedite column concreting and simultaneously complete the adjacent door band installation to maintain project timelines and structural consistency.

A Zoom meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary CWPP&H, Lal Jan Jaffar, to review the progress of ongoing development projects. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineers, Officers, and Superintending Engineers from all three zones.
While addressing the participants, the Secretary directed all Superintending Engineers to conduct regular site visits to ensure timely completion and to accelerate the pace of ongoing projects. Additionally, the meeting also discussed strategies for restarting development projects that had been halted due to outdated cost estimates.

A progress review meeting on the Custom and Gahi Khan Flyovers project was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa. The meeting was attended by Secretary Communications and Works, Lal Jan Jaffar; Project Director Custom and Gahi Khan Flyovers, Mukhtiar Kakar; and other senior officials from the department.
During the meeting, Provincial Minister Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa was given a detailed briefing on the projects. On this occasion, the minister issued strict instructions to ensure the swift completion of the flyover projects and to resolve all outstanding technical issues without delay.
